Tank Mates For A Salvini

I've sold all the fish that were in my 52g today and am going to start setting it up for the Salvini I currently have in a 30g.

I haven't even started to set it up yet, but am starting to think about what I might put in there with him. I plan on upgrading to a larger tank within the next year, so I'm not too worried if any tank mates wont be suitable for a 50g long-term. Saying that, I'm not wanting to go for a huge fish, maybe about 8-10" max. so it'll go nicely with the salvini.

Here's the ideas I've had so far. I'm very open to criticism and new ideas, so go for it!!

1 - Salvini, Jack Dempsey and a bristlenose
2 - Salvini, Green Terror and a bristlenose
3 - Get a partner for the Salvini and try to breed them

I like the idea of having a green terror the most... Would they go together okay?

I would go with option 2, in the 55? If its in the 30 then leav e out the GT and add a smaller fish.

Yeah, sorry, I didn't explain that too well.. It's for the 50g.

Would the fact that the Green Terror's from south america and the Salvini from Central be okay? Do they act very differently from each other?
