I have five females bettas in a ten gallon tank with dense vegetation. Are there any other fish I may be able to keep in there or am I limited to just ghost shrimp? I have good filtration and aeration...

I can't have snails, I keep my tanks a little salty because my fish like to nip each other's fins and salt heals them better but kills snails.

I wouldn't add anything. Balancing the agression in a female betta tank is difficult enough as it is, but atleast the betta's will work out a pecking order. Most other fish will end up being caught in the cross-fire and get beat up.

Would a few ghost shrimp be okay though? They're small, they aren't fish and they would be able to hide in the vegetation.

if you put shrimp in, especially small ones, be prepared that one or two might become snacks

Ottos would be fine but they need a mature tank and are best kept in groups of 5+.
