Tank Lying Around!

i have an 18 gallon tank (I only discovered it was this many gallons this morning ) so....i was wondering if it would be a reasonable size for a soroity of girly bettas? If not, Ill be considering a single betta and maybes a couple of suitable tankmates (will consult other posts).

Hasnt been cycled or anything yet, so have plenty of time. but im all excited

I think an 18 gallon could be OK for about 4 girls

is it a long or tall tank?
if it's long, i'd do lots of planting and put in 8-10 girls (no tankmates, if you want tankmates, reduce the girlies hehe)

its 24 inch long, by 15 inch high, 12 inch wide. sound like a long tank...?

you could have a max of about 8 girls in there,Aslong as its well planted for hiding places.Or divide it into 3-4 and have 4 seperate males or even females.

I would put in about 7 girls. And maybe a few shrimps, just to add something to the tank.

Oh and that sounds like a long tank to me.

I agree with the others, about 8 females could fit in there.
And we want piccys when you get them!!
