i currently have the rio 180 with 2 of the 45w high lite light. Now what i do from when i get in from work is usually leave my bedroom light on for around 15mins so the fish can adjust to the light then turn my tank light on, but every time i do so they always seem to hide under the big plant leaves i have. But then again in the day time when the lights are off and just the light from outside is shining through they always seem to be hanging around this same plant lol. Its quite funny how all my tigers swarm around this one plant in the middle of my tank.

Has anybody else had problems with tigers that don't seem to swim around the tank and actually luck like there enjoying them selves. Mine are so boring i hate it. i don't no what it can be ive tried changing the layout of the tank several time but still no joy. I just don't know whats wrong with the little guys. Ive had them for about 8 months now and they has relatively been the same :(

anyway back to the lighting question, do you think that the lights i have in atm are abit to powerful for the size tank i have now

Thanks for your time

the lights wont be too powerful for the tank, as some planted tanks have way more lighting, your best bet is to provide more hiding places
