Hi All,

I'm new here so dont shoot me down...Just Yet

Just wanted to know whether there is any kind of lighting updgrade available for a Juwel Trigon 190 Corner unit?
Currently in the tank I have got 2 Tiger Oscars and a plecostomus, the plecostomus which is now 5 Months Old along with the Youngest Oscar and the Eldest Oscar at 2 Years Old.

I Previously use to have a large selection of cichlids, Unfortunately due to other commitments at that time I had to sell them on after 3 Years of ownership :X

TIA,

Sambob

Hey,

I have currently got the original lighting unit in. The only thing i have changed was rear light for a blue one instead of white...Has improved the appearance of tank but im looking at changing the whole thing for somthing a little better. I'll take a look at the T5 Glo now...Thanks for the response :good:

T5 hagen glo is the full name of the starter unit and cheapest place i found to buy was ebay for it.

when i looked into lighting i found jbl website had a good guide on how may tubes from 1-4 tubes and what colours, brightness for if your keeping just fish, just plants, both and even reptiles, etc,if i can find it again il try post a link for you.

ive gone for twin tube set up with a plant bulb at the back and a daylight tube at the front, looks nice the fish look great and plants growing so all in all think i done right!
