Tank Is Very Noisy

I had this great idea after we had the tank repaired and so I can get a new carpet to move it to the dining room. Thought great spills easily mopped up etc but the noise of running water echoes and the filter too sounds noisy. Its the Jewel rio tank, I still have to put the airstone in too and well I know for time being no fish but you cannot turn it off to sleep once I do. Will I have to move it again?? Any ideas worth a try Thanks

turn the airpump off at night, as long as there is plenty movement on the surface you'll be fine. failing that sit ithe pump on some foam or something

I used some of that sticky backed felt you can put under furniture and that stops it making noise. I have laminate flooring but to be honest, both my tanks dont make any noise whether the air pump is on or off! Tanks shouldnt be excessivley noisy in any case so i would look into why its making too much noise. GRJ
