I got all the water in today, I have to get some more money so I can go buy some ammonia I literally have 1 dollar left over. I bought a master test kit and 4 plastic plants and the water isn't that cloudy. So thats a good sign.

So all I need really is the ammonia for the fishless cycle, and some water dechlorinator. Am I right in what I'm saying?

I know, just get the regular ammonia, read ingredients, if it says anything other than water and ammonia, it's no good.

But do I have to get the dechlorinator? Or just make sure my water doesnt hace chlorine in it?

You really do need a dechlorinator as chlorine kills bacteria (that's its job) Most dechlorinators get rid of chloramine too, you just need to put a drop extra in.

Follow that link Gremily gave you to the letter.

Good luck :good:

I've read before that chlorine can evaporate if given 24 hours but I really think you should get the dechlorinator, it's fairly cheap. I got enough to treat 3500 litres for around a tenner and it's probably cheaper online.

I was looking at petsmart.com and it was like 8 bucks for a bottle, granted i don't know how big the bottle is, but once I get some cash, which I think will happen tomorrow, I'll buy some dechlorinator and then i'll buy some ammonia and the fun can begin
