My Tank:
125 litre
( 28 UK Gallon )
( 33 US Gallon )

Current Stock:
2x Julii Corys
2x Peppered Corys
2x Bronze Corys
1x Molly
1x Molly fry
10x Neons

I really want something snazzy in the tank… something with interesting colouring.

I really like:
German Blue Rams
Dwarf Gourami’s
Kribensis

Would these get on with each other?
Or with the fish I already have?
What would you suggest? Numbers?
Any other ‘cool’ fish?

I dont want to overstock so I could return some of my current stock to my LFS if necessary.

I would say go with the rams. They have loads of character and are not nasty fish.

From personal experience, dwarf gouramis are nastly little things. And, quite frankly, boring otherwise.

Kribs are lovely and even lthough in my experience they have been good community fish (even when spawning) a lot of people say they are terrors (when spawning).

Otherwise, pearl gouramis, keyhole cichlids, apistogramma cacatuoides might be worth looking into...

I am going the same way - went to the LFS during my lunch break - they are out of Kribs so couldnt see them again

but comparing a ram to a dwarf gourami - the Rams outshine the gourami by a long way

Rams are stunning

How many would you suggest ?

I'd go with a pair of Gold Rams and a pair of Blue Rams, would compliment your current stocking nicely and add the colour and character you desire.

I would go for rams if you have space! They take up more space than dwarf gouramis

Couldn't agree more!!!

Rams, assuming you're water isn't hard and alkaline.
