Hi,
I am new to the forum. I have recently decided to set-up an old smaller tank i had stored away for a betta in my childs bedroom. However, when I unpacked and started cleaning the tank I have seen that the casing for the light has corroded and now has section that crumbles away. Obviously this could be quite dangerous with electric and water! I was trying to post a picture but the file is too large.
I am going to try and find a replacement part from the shop I got the tank from, which was a maidenhead aquatics store in the UK. Although I don't know whether this will be easy and/or cost effective. Do people think this is the best option or are there any ideas for 'patching up' the damaged section. It is the 'roof' or upper section, and the clear plastic section below is all ok. This is the tank

Any ideas would be great
Thanks
