Hello, i want to divide my tank so i can put two betta males in, its a 4 gallon tank.

I want to stick a big divider right down the centre, but am wandering how the water will get heated and filtered adequetly on each side as i have to place them on one side right

I was planning to get a great big peice of plastic and cut it to size

I pierce small holes in the divider (a lot near top) and cut a few slits at top of the plastic. (Use small, sharp scissors or knife on the taughtly held divider-piece.)

Good luck.

Drill many small holes in the plastic used allowing nice flow through the tank but prevent the fish swimming through...
you could cut strips into it even..

Hi,

use some plastic canvas the type sold in craft shops for cross stitching, then use some plastic strips that ate sold in stationary shops to hold paper together use one at each side to keep it solid and hold it in place. Theres a post somewhere on here with the full guide on how to do this but its straight forward enough.
Emma :)

thanks, its simple, but i didn't think of drilling holes into a piece of plastic
