hi all
has any1 out there been able to buy a tank divider thats 18" wide by 19" high or round about that i know i can cut them if to big but all i see it the ones that are 11"x 15" or 11"x17" all to small.
or can any 1 tell me what else i can use if buying from uk stores thxs

Cut to size some perspex sheeting from the DIY store and drill a series of small holes in this. Then buy some plastic channeling again from the DIY store cut to the height of the tank and wedge the whole thing between the front and rear glass of your tank. Sorted

cheers bigC do you mean the channeling you use for electric wiring ? if so how do i get it to stick to sides of tank ? and apart from the perspex WHICH IS A GOOD IDEA i was thinking more along the lines of something that was perferated but not toxic if you know what i mean but hey if there ain't no better ideas out there i'll give your plan a go bigC thxs again

cheers tolak and emma both great ideas and will go with any of the 2 depending on what i can hunt down at my local depot i could mix and match as bigC gave me the idea of using cable trunking which i could fix to tank walls then slide in either the egg crate or the smaller plastic canvis stuck onto trunking
thxs again all 3 of you a great help and will keep you posted as to which way i go
by the way it's a pair of angels i have and hoping for anothe pair ( thats what the divider is for ) not the first pair but if i get a 2nd pair
i think you know what i'm saying TA RA

just thought i would add this to the end of this forum as i pmed bigC this message

hi just been to B&Q got the plastic and cable trunking, drilled about 100 holes lol and i drilled 2 holes in each bit of trunking and put suckers through holes facing away from the back of trunking so 1 top and 1 bottom stuck trunking to tank walls then slid the plastic down the middle SORTED it worked a treat thxs for the idea m8
putting the suckers into the trunking stopped me having to glue them in and saved a bit o cash thxs again m8 TA RA
:good:
