Tank Designer Name?

I remember a while back there was a thread going around that surfaced every once in a while about a tank designer (Japanese I believe) that was especially good at designing planted discus tanks. As I remember, his motive was to incorporate a "landscape" into his designs through aquarium plants. Does anyone remember his name?
