I got myself a 4ft tank a few months ago, got loads of reals plants, white/beige gravel, an old looking vase/jug as my center piece but something just doesnt look right. So im thinking of adding some rocks, building them up high so that my fish (whom all like to hide!) can each have ther own hiding place. is the rocks in my back garden ok to use???
If you do, clean them & then boil (or bake them in the oven) and then bleach them (in 5% solution) and then clean them again (to clean the bleach off).
Alternatively, go buy some from the LFS!
