right my fishless cycle has just finished :) and i was wondering if i need to bother doing a water change at all. The reason you do a final water change is due to your nitrates being off the scale well mine are not i have 0ppm in my tap water B) and after my cycle the water is crystal bit of green algea on stones but pleccy will sort that and my stats are
ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrat about 5-10ppm closer to 5 though so is it worth me doing a water change im of the opinion that i shouldnt

It's always a good idea to do a water change and be on the safe side. After a fishless cycle with only 10 nitrates I'd be concerned about inaccurate readings.

the readings were high off the scale during the cycle went up to 80 and as soon as i added my second filter an external they dropped right down as im running my juwel 600/gph internal and a fluval 305 1000/gph external they dropped dramaticly.
