Recently got this aquarium from a friend and transferred original fish from a smaller tank into this (~82 litre)

Aim was to make it look natural :)

stocking is:

1 angel
2 gold grourami
1 plec
4 lemon tetra
3 black neon
6 neon
2 molly

All fish seem to get on great, the angel and gourami's show some strange behaviour as the gouramis appear to kiss the side of the angel, who doesnt seem to mind this at all.

closeup of the angel as he was following me around the tank with the camera.

picture of one of the gold gourami's.

also worth notice that the wood was found locally from a fallen down tree. substrate is part new gravel, and part sand from the old tank.

any suggestions for improvement welcome!

wow, nice tank and your fish look beautiful :good: . i like the piccie of the angel, it's so cute

That's really nice - I much prefer more natural looking tanks. Never been a fan of dayglo gravel and plastic divers!

Have you tried adding a dark background? Might be effective with colours of the fish you have. Could try a black or dark blue painted peice of cardboard to see how it looks - unless the fish like looking out of the kitchen window of course!!

:good:
