i have had this tank about 2 years its a juwel rio 300 i noticed a few weeks ago ater was leaking then we sealed it with a sealent that is ok to use under water and also a aquarium sealent then it was ok for 2 weeks then it started leaking again ,, it is driving me mad and its not fair on my fish shall i just get rid or try to repaire 1 more time ,, :(

Sounds like the tanks want's a complete new reseal, will the lfs look after your fish while you mend it.

here can i get a complete new seal from ?
i have another 4ft tank and a 3ft and a 2ft but there not as nice as the rio so they are in there i just dont like disturbing the fish they must be getting sick of it so i need it sorting propley ,, thanks for your replie ,,

If you can put the fish in another tank it wan't completely emptying and resealing with silcone, but some silcones can take a while to dry out.

do you know any good silicone and where could i get it from ,,? thanks

Lfs should sell it.

Local fish store.

one important fact missed buy the other posters here and one that all fish keepers should really know is that new sealant wont seal against old sealant. this will be why you fixed the tank and it leaked again. you must remove the whole bead and replace that with new. to be honest if its gone in one place then id suspect its been left dry for too long and the sealant has begun to perish anyway. id want to remove all the sealant and do the job that way rather than just where its leaking
