Dear all,

Any hints, or links to articles, on how to put new backing on a tank properly?

Thanks,

Mark

I take the background and tape one side, then pull it tight and tape the other. Easy peasy..

Vaseline the back of the tank, apply background and iron out air bubbles with a debit card.

Edit: on the external face I should add!

I paint the outside surface of the back wall with matte black chalkboard paint. Wait until each coat dries completely before adding the next. I just keep adding coats until I can't see any light coming through to the front.

Thanks all, my main reason for asking was to not have bubbles or gaps form. The Vaseline method looks good, agree will probably work better on the outside than on the inside!!
