i have a 70 litres (18.5gal) tank whih has been going for 2 years have suffered white spot and rotting disease and seen all fish die in one night due to a parent who decided to add 3 plants and 5 guppies (3 pregnant) into a tank while i was away.

i am now a bit more clued up now on what to do with my tank and it has been going strong for 7 months and only suffered one fatallity.

i was wondering what type of fish would be suitable for my tank its 70 litres as said before and houses 4 zebra danios one pleco 2 rasbora and one unknown fish which cannot be identified other than belonging to the charancin or cyprinid series (see previous topic )

any ideas ?

also i know i have made a big mistake in getting a pleco he was 2 inches big and is now 5 inches bigg luckily i have another tank for him to go in when he outgrows this one

Maybe 5inch is his max length? If you could get a picture up of him that would help, as there are a few species of plecs that stay relatively small.

Though you may have to make a post in the catfish section of the forum.

cool will try getting some advice on him in the catfish section

technically i am a re-beginner at this but some time i am an idiot ie listening to an idiotic pet shop slerk that told my to put salt in a freshwater tank to kill diseases and NOT the fish

hes a spotted type and grows to up to 18 cm depending on size of tank but i have a goldfish in a separate tank who is 10 yrs old and 18inches big and lives in a lobster tank so im ok with bigger fish
