any body here keep them i have just got my tank set up for them. whats the absolute max temp they can be kept at happily unforutnately my tank wont go below 81 degrees? if they cant take these temps are malawi a better idea

I keep L. stappersi at around 76-77F though they were shipped from a dealer who kept them in the low 80's so depending on what kind of Tangs you get, you might be able to keep them in a lower 80F tank. Why won't the tank go below 81F though?

its a brand new house and it has this ridiculously thick insulation and my room doesnt go lower than about 85 90 lol but all windows open now trying to get this bloomin thing to cool lol

Air conditioning is your friend. Alternatively you could try having fans blow on the tank to help cool it down.

hoping i sorted it now lowered water about an inch so the filter creates alot of surface disturbance and the light isnt so darn close its a very very hot set of bulbs lol.
