i would ike to set up a tanganyikan tank for shell dwellers.
My tank is 100 litres and my water parameters are bang on from what i've researched into them
I was wondering if anyone could advise me as to what could go into it
The tank would be aquascaped with replica rock, sand and large shells
Would Neolamprologous multifaciatus and Neolamprologus brichardi be ok to co exist in the same tank or is a single species tank the best choice.

Thankyou for any advice offered

For that sized tank go with only one species. Brichardi are not shell dwellers. They can easily take over a tank. What are the dimensions of the tank? Since multies or similis will form colonies, you only have to start with a few fish. 2 males and about 4 females should be good. Just leave space for the colony to grow. Shellies dont need large shells. Escargot shells or turbo snail shells will work just fine. Just give them plenty of shells. At least 2 to 3 per fish. Sand is a good idea they like to dig.
