Tang Choices

just wanted some opions on some tangs i have been looking on liveaquaria.com and saltwaterfish.com

kole tang/yellow eyed bristle tooth tang --min tank 70 gallons-liveaquaria min tank 90 gallons-saltwaterfish
blue line tang ---------------------------------- min tank 70 gallons-saltwaterfish

what would be better for my tank
my tank is 75 uk/gall 90 us gall 4ft long-2ft deep-1.5ft wide

i have been told for my tank a kole tang would be fine but i was wondering would a blue line tang be ok for my tank or would it be possible to get both for my tank

i can post my stock list it that helps

Tbh ive got a gold rush tang, tomminii bristle tooth, and mines a 55 gallon so ive got the smallest tang you can fit and he does fine. So a yellow eye would probs be best as they they are good hardy tang and well they do have a nice pattern on them even though they are brown IMO.

yeh i am defo going with the kole tang but could i have the blue line tang to whats your opion?

You could probably have the blue line as well, but that may be pushing it; watch it while acclimating.

Agreed, and remember, Tangs are very sensitive fish in general, so take care in transport and acclimation.

what acclimation should i give them? 2 hours?
my stockig list now is

3green chromis
2 percula clown
1flame angel
1bicolour dotty back
1 blue line tang
1 kole tang
1neon goby

this ok?
could i add a sixline wrase aswell or will that be pushing it?

Time doesn't matter in acclimation for the vast majority of fish. A couple of weeks ago I gave my Sailfin to my cousin and he just dumped the fish in his tank; did not even temperature acclimate him. I went to see the fish a few days ago and he is as happy and colorful as I have ever seen him.

By "watch it while acclimation" I meant to watch the fish carefully over the next couple of weeks, making sure he doesn't become sick or stressed.

You could add a sixline, but watch out for the dottyback... Dont expect to be able to add other fish after he's established in the tank

Tbh i go about hour to hour 20 mins because i find them stuck in a bag for over 2 hours can cause more stress then just a little salinity change.
I wouldnt push for 2 one would be better cos they will show better colours and character if less stressed and thats the main thing .

well im going to go wtih the sixline and scrap the idea of the bicolour dottyback as my sis now is choosing a new fish -would a kind of butterfly fish be ok?

Depends on the species, but probably. Remember that there are many reef-safe butterflyfish as well.

well my sis has just chose her fish she would like a flash back gramma/pseudochromis diadema is this ok any thoughts?
so now thats

is this a suitable stock list for my tank
does any1 think its over stocked?
what shall i add next i have 3 green chromis and 2clowns so what next?

just bought a pyjama wrasse and i will be changing my stock list will post new one later on today

For overstocking i would be bit iffy for me as you would have to do more water changes to keep the nitrates down later on. I only keep 4 in my 55gal now cos i knows its not over stocked but all the corals in tank wont over crowd them.

But thats just me.
As for adding, i would go
the neon goby-->six line-->gramma--> flame angel---> both tangs to allow them to equally get their own areas.

is this ok ifso would i be able to add two more chromis or would that be to much?
