looks like vallis to me

mine was growing around a foot a week, in the end instead of trimming it i was cutting huge clumps out of it.

lol, not bad at all, when my vallis was doing well it had gorwn the height of the tank and then the length (4x2).

have to cut it all the time otherwise it gets tangled in all the other tall plants and looks a complete mess

My val grows annoyingly fast. I recently trimmed it to 15cm below the waterline. The next day it was at the waterline. So I trimmed it again to the same level and yup.....overnight, 15cm growth (6 inches for you american peeps)

I trim about 8 inches off every 3 days. It it loving my tank now that I have co2 and the EI happening in there. Thats my big mondo stuff though. The thinner val isn't growing much at all.

I have never taken a plant out to measure it though. I'm sure mine will be at least that long after my 2 week vacation.

I hate them I took mine out. It seem to have took over the rest of my plants..I love my plants in my tanks I hate when a plant takes them over.

same as you guys i dont use scissors i just grab handfulls and rip it out.

I have one tiny corkscrew plant with about 6 leaves and it's 21in or so right now... all my other val died. Grrrrr, I guess it's the lack of Co2.

I've seen giant val for sale on aquabid, some of it is almost 3ft!
