Hi all

Listen to this. I when to my LFS today to get some more fish for my small 10g tank i have in my hall, I use this shop a lot so the people know me well in there.
Anyway i walked in and the girl who looks after the fish said she had just had a delivery of fish, some where sail fin mollies (orange) and one of them had had fry while they we're in transport to the shop, she was not sure what to do with them.
She had put them in a plastic breeding trap cause that's all she had to put them in. Anyway she let me have TWELVE of them for free as she was unable to keep all of them, I was made up as they where selling them for £9.95 a pair and i got TWELVE of them free hehe....... But i lost three of them due to stress of transport so fed them to my angels which they appreciated greatly The other nine that survived are in with my two mollie fry and 1 very very lucky zebra danio that i found in my hospital tank. They're all doing good so far i will keep you informed of how they are doing.

I just thought i would share that with you all as i'm so made up i got them for FREE!

Not entirely sure why this is in the emergency section

But it might become one if you keep your 9 sailfin mollies in your 10 gallon tank As tiny fry I'm sure they're OK in the very short term, but you know sailfin mollies grow huge and need need a much larger tank if they all survive.....

Good luck it's always nice to get something for free though.

I'm new to this posting thing and didn't realise i put it in the emergency section.

I know they grow to a big size and i've got a bigger 3' tank i can put them in when they grow, but for now there in my fry tank 5g untill they become a little bit bigger then i'll move them, and plus i will sell them on once they grow big enough.

Sorry to all who thought this was an amergency
