In a 30 gallon tank...

2 platy
2 neon swordtails
2 marigold swordtails
1 cory cat
1 albino cory cat
2 neon tetras
2 silver tetras
1 (baby) yellow perch
4 minnows
2 guppies
2 tiger barbs

........I caught the female neon swordtail eating at the male guppy's tail... I was wondering what i could do to
prevent this from happening, i had the tank for about a year with pretty much the same fish and nothing like this ever happened. Also, how long does it take for the fins or tails to grow back...

Shoaling fish should be kept in group of no less than 6.
Also the cory won't be to happy as they are a shoaling fish to and they should be kept in no less than 3 too.
As for the fin nipper you will have to seperate her or rehome her, the tail should mend in good water quality on its own, good luck.
