T5 Light Tubes Combination For Planted Tank

Hi everyone!
I am buying a new light unit with 3 X 54W t5 light tubes, and manufacture claims they are 10000K. Is it OK for 4' fish tank ?
I think it's better to use different tubes to stimulate plant growth and colours of fish.
Please help me with choosing the right tubes, thank you

10000K will grow plants but the colour rendition could be a little white/blue. If you had red/yellow fish or red plants these may not look as nice as they could with a lower K tube.

Arcadia do a plant T5 tube - Plant Pro. This is good for plant growth and colours, although they are quite expensive.

Other than that I would aim for a tube of around 6500K.

Bargain find, George! Will keep those links for when my new T5's need replacing. Just out of interest what about the light spectrum of those tubes? Right K but the spectrum might not fit?

Spectrum may not be "perfect", whatever that is!? But they'll grow plants I bet.

thanks guys! So..I will leave one tube with 10000K and will buy 2 light tubes with lower K, thank you
