Beautiful, such an underrated cichlid. I had a big old male that thought it was an oscar or midas with the personality it had.

Ive had it for two months so not sure. I think its he aswell going off its fins, but yeah is a nice colour and i do really like him. cheers

yes they have spawned again...its only been a few weeks!! drives me crazy i need to stop them lol

look at the utter confusin on her face...

lol then she started to get abit aggresive with me

is a very cool fish but erm......look at this

i exspected mum and dad to kill of the 3rd batch of babys but they havent...and since yesterday when the 4th batch of babys started to wiggle....well the 3rd batch have decided they might try and munch them!! i cannot stop them and mum and dad cannot seem to see what the problem is....well i wanted a way to control there birth habbits and i think i finaly have a way lol

Lovely! Love the blue eyes. Sajica's are a fish rarely seen in my lfs, which is a shame.

ive heard alot of people say there really hard to get hold of? its odd as mine breed like rabbits!! its driving me nuts, ive not got a home for the babbies!! im having to empty my 4ft tank downstairs to house the youngens untill i find them a home

It surprises me that people say they are hard to get hold of, especially as they are quita a popular fish.
Great pics Razer, they are beautiful. Have you spoke to your LFS? That's where I took mine when my pair bred.

Not seen any around me, but to be honest there is not a massive selection of American cichlids in my lfs'. Plenty of African and Saltwater though
