i bought two earlier today relatively cheaply to live with my tanganjikans. i can't see them eating? is this normal? whats the best food for them?

tetra tabimins

i use for my syno multipunctatus
sure you are aware they are pretty similar fish
not sure youl be able to give em blood worms cause cichlids are fast n hungry lol

They feed on things like snails in the wild but you should feed them Good flake/tablet as well as frozen foods like brineshrimp, shrimp and mysis

mmm dont put bloodworm in ur cichlid tank for food. no.1 nono.

That depends on the stocking; mbuna need a veggie-based diet, but Hap's or Tanganykians are mainly predatory fish.
Petricola are social fish, you really should have more than 2. The more of them you have (depending on stocking space) the more active/visible they'll be. I really wouldn't recommend less than 5 of any schooling/social fish regardless of family.
