Syno Petricola growth rate

I have three small syno petricola (about an inch) and I wondered how fast they would grow in a tank on their own (10 or 15 gallon) with regular water changes etc? Once they are big enough I would move them to my new main 80 gallon tank. Got them by mail order and I was told they would be bigger........

The Synodontis Petricola grow to around 5-6inches but im unsure of how long it will take for them to reach this size.
