Now I am being serious. I have a syno Angelicus and she's been with me 5 years. And she's huge. I kid you not. I originally housed her with my family group of synos (mostly Eupterus but a number of other species also) but she upset the lot of them and was seperated. Since then she has lived in a 55g tank with endlers, loaches and raphael cats. My loaches are all turning into oap's and one of my yoyo's passed away a few weeks back, poor lass.
Obviously, none of these other residents particularly interact with her so she's just steadily grown bigger and rounder. I reckon a companion will make her more active rather than sitting in her hollow log all day and porking all night. If anyone has any ideas I am willing to hear them.
I can't feed less or the other members will lose out and she'll still be a big lady. If she were human she'd be obese and on one of those tv progs where they make them all stop eating and exercise vigerously.
I can't move her in with the big family. Although it's been 5 years since they last met I daren't upset the group, especially since they bred a few years back. (Don't tell anyone, but sometimes synos will breed all by themselves when no one is watching and totally suprise their owner when two small young synos appear out of nowhere.)
She will, eventually have their big home when they get upgraded, but for the remainder of this year she will remain in her 55g.

Oh so you can now ignore this.
I have spoken to a few experts in the field and apparently being this fat is normal for an Angelicus and since she's so aggressive towards syno's she's better off living with her other tank mates and leaving it at that.
If only we were that tolerant of people being large....although maybe not that aggressive. :)
