this is one of my swordtails that i originally thought was a female for the longest time. the first pic is when his sword first started to develop and the next two are now. he's turning into quite the looker!

hey i think that it could of been a female before i heard that they can change into males. .he's one good looking little swordie.

thanks for compliments! he and his brother both took about 7 to 8 months to develop. i'm worried about them fighting since they're in the same tank, but there are no females in there, so maybe without a female presence they won't feel the need to establish dominance...any thoughts about this?
