Swordtails

I have a new ten gallon tank, and I was wondering how many swordtails that I could put in there comfortably and also if I could put in a female betta in there with them. Thanks.

You should be able to get away with three swords, one male and two females. This is a good ratio if you want to breed them

You could add the female betta, but might I suggest some other wonderful fish? :leers at chris's wallet : IMO, you would probably like a gang of corydaoras more than a lone female.

Suggested tank stock: three swords and three corydoras.
