Swordtails

I have had my Swordtails (1male 2 females) for quite some time now and one of the females has been huge for the last 3 weeks. This is the first time i have owned swordtails so i dont have a clue about breeding them. How much longer will she be or is there some thing wrong?

they give birth ever 28-32 days on average so she should be giving birth very soon if she's been larger for 3 weeks now.

carefull with breeder traps, they cause the mother unnecessary stress and could lead to her aborting/absorbing the fry, your best bet would be to let her birth in the main tank, add a few floating plants then catch the fry as you see them, which is easier said than done
