Swordtails Fry Help

i just had a female have some fry qand i was wondering where can i sell them and what are they worth. I only fish stores that i have by me are petco and pet supply plus anyhelp?

Some lfs will take them off you if they have fry tanks in the store, but they might not wan't to pay you alot, sometimes you have to give them away, though i got three fish from the lfs for mine.

Lfs mean local fish store or shop.

i enquired about my fry when there old anough to sell
pet shop they would take them, but probally in exchange for food or a swap
you could advertise in shop windows also

we just gave 25 of our biggest swordie fry to our lfs, a lot wont take baby fish from you unless you are a registered breeder so i doubt if you could get money but they may like ours did give you something in exchange ( we got a tub of fishfood) we were just glad we could rehome some of ours our batch was of 50 babies we didnt think theyd all survive but they have, we still have about 30 in the fry tank growing out & then we'll have to find homes for them as well. can you advertise in a fish forum or local paper??? at work,school?? anywhere you can think of.

I have been selling my juvenile Swords for nearly a year now but, the stores around here will buy them only after they are about 3-4cm long. I get about $1.25-$2.00 (US) each for them. Not a lot but it helps to keep the food bills down.
