I have 3 long finned lyretail swordtails, for a little while now Ive noticed the 2 females like to hide at the bottom. They dont seem to eat as much either, if at all the past few days. I moved recently so I assumed that the lack of energy/hiding was due to stress, but now I'm not so sure.

1 of the females is on her way out it seems. She is currently on the bottom of the tank on her side, skinny, and her fins are ragged (the ends are white, her lips also look like this). The other female & male, although not very active, arnt nearly as bad. Hopefully I can save these two...

Any suggestions for treatment (I have catfish...)? I haven't had any fishie problems for a while & Ive forgotten what to do :(

What a mess yes resting on the bottom to one side means they are dying, sorry, she has secondary infection there as well, how long have they not been eating as the skinnness is worrying, look at the anus is it red and inflamed any sign of anything prutruding from the anus, white lip could be mouth fungus, also wasting away can be fish tb.

Yeah she died last night :rip:

But the other 2 are still alive, I'm just not sure what to do to prevent the same thing happening to them. Aside from them not eating as much as usual & being less active, they look fine. They don't have any physical problems from what I can tell (like lumps, bumps, fungus, redness, etc.).

Any suggestions as to what to do?

With the white lips sound like mouth fungus you have a bacteria infection, columnaris, need to treat plus do some water changes also try some shelled peas but it hard if they are not eating, good luck.
