Swordtail

Hi every1 Im new ere
I was wondering if sum1 cud plz help me. I have my 170litre tank running now for over 2months and everything is going great. Water and everything is stable. 3 days ago i was buying some fish and the shop keeper sold me a swordtail (orange) and said it was pregnant, and to be honest it was hugh, and i was excited at the thought and i purchased a 2way birthing thingie lol. I put her it it on her own and she has done alot of pooping and seems skinnier and also she doesnt have this black spot that alot of people talk about, and when i bought her she didnt have it..Can she be pregnant without having this black spot?
Maybe she was just a we greedy fish lol
Please help cuz if shes not pregnant i want to let her out of the birthing thingie

If she never had a black spot then she is not pregnant, take her out of the birthing cage, i dont use those anyway, di

I would take her out of the trap anyway, pregnant or not. They cause the fish so much stress, it can cause complications with the birth. If you want to keep the fry, I suggest you net them when you see them, and place them into the trap at that point.

If its name is hugh then it's probably a boy fish
