Swordtail fry

I just walked past my aquarium with 2 pregnent swordtails and 1 male and 1 female guppy and I saw 1 tiny little fish. Im pretty sure it was one of the swordtails who had the fry but I cant find anymore. And they are both the same size as before one of the had the fry is she still going to have more or what?

she could have more or she may have had all of them and the other fish ate them. You should put her in a breeding net or seperate tank so that the chances of the fry surviving is much higher. there is a post pinned to the top of this forum that should answer any other questions.

I would put her in a breeding trap but I dont know which female it was who had the fry. But they are both as big as they were before 1 of them had the fry doesnt that mean she will have more?

Do you have both of them in a breeding trap? together? if you do you shouldn't.

No, I dont have any of them in a breeding trap.

you should keep the two females separate from eachother to find out who is having the babies.
