I have some swordtail fry that will be 5 weeks old Sunday that I just moved from my 10 gallon fry tank (it was getting a little crowded) to my 55 gallon tank. In the 10 gallon tank they were zipping all over the place constantly but since moving them to the big tank all they seem to do is huddle in a little group. It's been 7 hours since I moved them and they are all still clustered together in a little group except for 2 that have moved up towards the top of the tank but still directly over the bigger group. They are sharing the tank with 3 adult Swordies (2 females and one male), 2 female Bettas and 2 Cories. None of the adults are acting agressively towards them, the 2 female Swordies have even been quite friendly with them. The male Swordie just ignores them and the bettas stared at them for a few minutes than seemed to get bored and have left them alone ever since. Is this normal behaviour for fry? I did notice that the one little 2 week old pineapple swordie thats been in the tank alone has joined up with them in their little herd.
