Swordtail Fry

I have about a dozen swordtail fry that are about 4 weeks old. I thinks all are female except one. Is this usually the case to have mostly females? Also how old are males before they start to show their sword?

Swords can take a long time to develop, some young male will develop from about 6 weeks but the best are the late developers which I've seen them take upto 8 months to mature.
