Swordtail Female Sitting On The Bottom Of The Tank

Hi

My swordtail female sitting on the bottom of the tank. She has no signs apart from heavy breating.

Any ideas?

could be any number of problems, most likely unclean water.

if you have any melafix, or some kind of fish remedy, add it to your tank.


other then that do water changes and if you have any salt or stress coat, add that as well.

Is she noticeably pregnant?

Not good once they sit on the bottom and heavy breath they are dying sorry.
