Swords Looking Rather Nasty

i have for amazon sword plants in my tank and i havenoticed that a few of the bigger leaves are going brown and see through i was wondering, is the plant dyeing or are they geting ready to grow new stems/leaves?

Same happens to me.... i just cut them off

Probably a fert deficiency, adding root tabs under them would probably help.
