Sword tail fry!!

Well last night I had a really fat female swordtail... This morning she was skiny as a twig! I took appart my whole tank to get as many fry as I could but I have found only 5 so far I wish I had put her in the breeder trap last night...
I think that these fry are going to my mom's primary class so they can watch them grow. I hope I find more.

ived found about 8 from platty fry that were given birth to in the main tank!!

ateast you only get the fit ones that got away fromthere mum this way.

Swordtail fry hide like ghosts,all the sudden when they get brave enough they pop up everywhere. They're pretty crafty,too. I'm always finding them. I can't even keep track of pregnant fish,i just wait to see babies skittering about.

I came home today and searched all through the tank again, no live fry so far. I found one dead one under a rock so I know the female had at least 6...
