Switching to sand today

Well, I finally decided to try sand on one of my tanks. If I like it they are all probably going to sand. Wish me luck!!!

Well, switch is done and I LIKE IT!!! Yea!!!!! I think I'm going to do all my tanks now. I think I rinsed enough. I did about 1/3 of the 50 lb. bag. Maybe I'll post some pics after it clears up.

I've been thinking of trying sand in one of my 10G tanks but need to get things settled down with cycling, finrot, etc. etc.

Well the water cleared up the day after the switch, but I didn't get pictures till today. The stocking full of gravel is still in there. Going to leave it in there for a couple weeks to let the bacteria colonize the sand. I planted some live plant bulbs in the sand. Hopefully they will start sprouting in the next couple weeks so I can take the fake ones out of there. Anyway, here's the pics!
