I want to switch tanks for both my angels and goldies. My angels have a 75 gallon tank and my goldies have a 75 gallon tank.

Just a note, the angels are not in the same tank.

My question is will they be stressed from the move? Is it okay to move them?.

I have moved plenty of fish with no problems. People really dont give the fish enough credit, they can be very resiliant.

Just make sure that your water parameters are as close as possible, and that when you move them you go through the aclimatisation procedure you would when you get new fish. Remember to keep the lights off as this is what freaks the fish the most IMO.

Okay, thanks a lot for your help. I’m going to clean the tank this morning and switch them over. I guess fish are hardier then what people think. Of course some are much more sensitive but goldies are not.

Yes, all parameters in both tanks are the same so that won’t be a problem. I just hate netting fish for some reason. But my goldies are different. I can pet them so they will just probably swim right in the net. haha
