In the last week or so I've noticed a change in my fish behaviour. My biggest concern is for my caete dwarf cichlid, who seems very unhappy. He's taken to pretty much sitting at the bottom of the tank and mostly hiding under the bogwood. This really isn't like him and I'd say he's also lost weight. He can swim with no problems, notably during my last tank cleaning session, but he's become incredibly lethargic. He's not even really reacting to being fed. :(

I've also noticed my rummy nose swimming lower in the tank too. Possibly linked? Notably my corys seem fine.

Help and advice appreciated.

My caete dwarf cichlid is pretty much dead. Literally only just still breathing. Absolutely gutted as he's my favourite fish. Has anyone got any ideas what might be causing the problem?

What are your water parameters, temperature, and how much aeration do you have in the tank? Are you using any medications? How do you do your water changes and how much do you do per week/per day?
