Swimming Downwards?

Today i had a look and i saw one of my 11 neon tetras swimming downwards, i kept watching it , then i realized that it was floating to the surface and thats why it was trying to swim downwards..
But WHY?? what can i do to make it back to normal

what way is the current moving in ur tank

also how much oxygen is there because they might be going up for oxygen then back down because neon tetras have those wired shaped fins

I think it may be because of the way the filter is making the current go,

I slowed it down and now it seems better

I dont think its going up for air then coming back down. To me it looked like it was trying to stay down.

Now it seems better, now that the current isnt moving as fast

Mine often do this just after they've gorged themselves on some (too many, too fast) flakes for dinner. The first time I saw the whole tank 'bobbing' I freaked out, but faster than I could google possible causes and treatments - they were all fine again.

Just something to think about. They still do it every so often... no concerns any more.

Yep thats probably why its doing that, its one of the bigger neons that ive got, it probably tried eating too fast or something..
hes doing it again btw
