Fed my fish this evening as normal and everyone was fine, eating etc. Putting kids to bed a little while ago and hear splashing from the little tank. It's obvious her swim bladder has gone (cannot stay right way up swimming, panicking etc). Calmed her down in my hand in the tank, holding her up and have now moved her to a slightly larger empty tank. Seems slightly calmer but I can't see her making it through the night and have no meds I can offer her for her condition. She hit her head pretty hard before I moved her, which is why I was alerted in the first place.

Went downstairs to get her a heater for the tank (it was same temp as the other but thought extra heat might help) and came back to find her dead. Just like that. Gone. Poor poor thing. She was born and bred from my gold 3 spot years ago. She was the only one who came out brown ad I kept her. Her companion is gonna be lonely tonight.
