I was watching my fish at feeding time then, my dog needed to be let outside so I got up and came back, and guess what I found? On of my platies was stuck at the top of the tank floating, trying to swim down. And she was "burping" bubbles out of her mouth about the size of her eyes. Does she have swim bladder?

Sounds very odd. Swim bladders don't suddenly go funny in full-grown fish - the vast majority of swim bladder disorders are congenital.

Got photos? They would help a lot. Doesn't sound good but we'll do what we can.

I looked at her this morning and she was fine. I hope it doesn't happen again....

It's not a swimbladder problem if it happened that quickly.

Thier is a problem which affects some fish and basically it only affects them when their excited and their is nothing that can be done.

Hopefully it's just a once off and will not be a problem.
