Hi everyone

yet again my Betta is giving me another shock....
Noticed everytime he trys to swim down to bottom of his tank he floats to top!
he seems to struggle swimming down without floatin to top.
He has been fine all night it's just started happening

Please help!!!!

Gave him some boiled, de-shelld frozen gardern pea and he's eaten it fine.

Gonna buy him Internet swimbladder treatment tommrow and hope that works.
I'd go now but LFS isn't open til 10am tommrow

Have you lowered the water level? Also I provide mine with a leafy plant near the surface so they can rest their butts. Turn the heat up a smidge. Also Epsom salts work as well.

Ok when I got up this morning he was at bottom of tank and now he's back at top swimming .
he doesn't seem to float now....

Im gonna get some interpet #13 just incase

well whatever it was has gone now.
he's swimming perfectly fine and seems as happy as can be.

He now has a bubble filter in his tank too.

Gonna keep the meds going til full course is over.

Keep adding a small amount of salt to his water

he's not gettin fed for 3 more days tho

so YAY He's gonna be fine!

He still floats to top somtimes but others he doesn't so I think he's almost cured! or sorted if its not SB.

Im gonna keep treatment going just incase, the SB treatment and the Pea in 3 days after he has been fasted.

Hoping all gors well
