Swim Bladder Disorder

One of my tiger barbs have a swim bladder disorder and he's having trouble swimming. It isn't so bad since he's able to float at a constant level and not float all the way to the surface or sink to the bottom. He can also swim in the direction he wants, but akwardly. He's the leader of the whole pack and I really don't want him to get worse.

I've tried feeding him peas, but he doesn't seem to have an apetite after being stressed like this. Only thing I can try now is some epsom salt, but how long do I bathe him in it for it to take effect?
