My betta had bloated a few days ago and what fat as HECK!!! I reduced feeding and this is day 2 of not feeding him I only fed him 4 pellets a day before this happened!!!
anyway, I came home today to find him floating on the surface on his side!!! He hardly moves, just drifts on his side!!!

I never fed him live food except some home grown triops and home grown sea monkys. Hes been bloated for about a week now and his diet seems normal. There no sign of parasites or any form of fungus on his body

his stomach is sooo big that it even looks a different color!!!

Thanks, that helps but it doesnt explain his sudden loss of color. WHen i got home, his color was normal (except his bulging stomach) and when i put my hand in to stroke him (which he NEVER allows) he showed sign of stress by having very pale colors (his blood red fins turned white!!!)

okay, i fasted him for 4 days, and fed him some peas on the 5th day. he began swimming around withough any problems. day 6, I fed him 2 soaked pellets, 8 hours later i returned to find him floating to the surface again and his stomach swollen. what should I do?
